Sauga Summer Pass

The Sauga Summer Pass offers free:

  • MiWay rides (ages 12 to 16)
  • Drop-in fun swims at City pools (ages 12 to 16) – view the schedule and locations
  • Fitness centre access (ages 14 to 16)

The application registration period begins on April 29, on a first-come, first-served basis until the program reaches capacity.

The Sauga Summer Pass will be active between July 1 and September 2, 2024.

Who can apply

To access free MiWay rides, fun swims, and fitness centres, applicants must be Mississauga residents between the ages of 12 to 16 during registration.

The fitness centre amenities are reserved for those ages 14 to 16 on a first-come, first-served basis after registering with a parent/guardian. Those who turn 14 during the program can add this on, or after, their birthday.

How to apply

  1. Download, print, and complete the Sauga Summer Pass application form
  2. Submit the completed form at any City community centre
  3. Bring a physical piece of identification with you to verify your date of birth

Fitness centre access can be added to your pass by completing the following additional steps with a parent/guardian at any community centre:

  1. Fill and sign the Eligibility for Youth Membership Consent waiver (available on-site) at the customer service desk.
  2. You are not required to complete an orientation before using the fitness centre, but we invite you to watch the virtual orientation if you’d like to learn the basics of our weight room.

Fitness Amenities

Fitness centre access, classes, and squash courts are available from July 1 to September 2 at various locations daily (Mon-Sun) between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.

A fee of $4.52 including tax to replace your pass will apply, while quantities last.

The pass should only be utilized by the person for whom the application was approved; pass-back or sharing is not allowed. Pass may be confiscated by City staff if used fraudulently or reproduced illegally.

The Sauga Summer Pass for fitness use is for youth ages 14 to 16.

If youths 12 to 13 would like to use the fitness amenities, they can consider purchasing a fitness membership for a fee at any Mississauga community centre to access the facility during regular hours of operation.

Your Sauga Summer Pass is only valid on MiWay. If you’re transferring to a different transit system, you’ll need to pay the applicable fare.

Transfers are also not issued to Sauga Summer Pass holders. Please show your pass to the transit operator when boarding MiWay.

If you have forgotten your Sauga Summer Pass, you will pay a fare on MiWay rides and the drop-in rate for fun swims and fitness centre access.
