City's 5 Year Energy Conservation Plan (2014-2019)

Mississauga is a city that values its shared responsibility to preserve and protect the environment. The City developed a 5 Year Energy Conservation Plan (2014-2019) which exceeds the requirements of Regulation 397/11 of the Green Energy Act. The plan shows the City's leadership in doing its part to improve the energy performance of Mississauga facilities and creating a culture of energy conservation. The City's goal is to achieve a one per cent reduction in energy and greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) per year over the next five years.
