Development and Design Division

The Development and Design Division of the Planning and Building Department is responsible for processing development applications including:

The Planning Services Centre (PSC) is available to assist you with:

  • Understanding the development application process and submission requirements

  • Providing direction on the appropriate application type for a proposed development

  • Offering information on City policies and procedures

The PSC also facilitates consultations for proposed telecommunications towers, which are regulated by Industry Canada, a federal government agency.
